On-line Access to Employee Files

Line managers can easy access team's member information. The personnel file (employee record) can be viewed also by HR professionals who are authorized in the organizational structure. Employees also have the right to view their own personnel file as part of their self-service portal.

Streamlined Access for Line Managers

Managers can have all the necessary digital information at hand to facilitate employee management, without needing to request details from the Human Resources or Personnel department. This streamlines communication and saves a lot of time. Managers have access to important information needed for performance management, employee development, career progression, compliance, qualifications, and work equipment.

Managing Employee Personnel File

Manager has authorized access to the important information for employee development, such as

  • Personal Information: Access basic details like contact information, job title, and department.
  • Performance Records: View tasks and review performance evaluations.
  • Leave and Attendance: Check leave balances, attendance records, and time-off requests.
  • Training and Development: View an annual calendar of completed and planned training sessions and development plans.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Access details about compensation and benefits.
  • Safety and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Information: View an overview of issued work equipment, such as personal protective equipment (PPE).

Update Employee Information

  • If you have the necessary permissions, you can update certain employee details directly in the system. This ensures that all information is current and accurate.

Approve Requests from Team Members

  • If you are listed as the direct supervisor in a request, it will automatically be directed to you.
  • The system selects the direct supervisor (manager) if specified in the requisition.
  • As a manager, you are responsible for approving your team members' requests.
  • You can view all requests in the "Approvals" menu.

Managing the Development of Your Team

As a line manager, you can view your team in the system. For each of your direct subordinates, you can access their personnel files and communicate with them more easily. Specifically:

  • Onboarding: Plan and manage activities during the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Personal Development: Plan and manage the personal development of your team members, including their training and development plans.
  • Work Equipment: Track the work equipment issued to your team members, including issuance dates and expiration dates.
