Emergency replacement or issue of PPE
- An emergency replacement of PPE can occur, for example, after damage, an accident, loss, or a change in legislation.
- In the event of an emergency exchange, the work aid must be removed and a new one issued in the following manner
How to Handle an Emergency Issue of Protective Work Equipment
- Select the PPE Organizer: Open the PPE organizer or other Organizer where you keep track of PPEs or other work aids.
- Navigate to the “Assigned” Tab: Click on the “Assigned” tab.
- Find the Employee: Locate the employee for whom you need to make an emergency exchange.
- Initiate Removal: On the right side, click on the three dots next to the employee’s name.
- Remove the Item: Select “Remove.” This action will be recorded in the history, and the available quantity will be adjusted accordingly.
Note: The removed item will be deducted from the inventory and will no longer be in circulation.
- Issue New PPE: If you need to issue a new piece of PPE or protective gear, follow the standard issuance procedure.
