An approver is someone designated to authorize requests within an approval process. This is typically a manager, either
- A direct supervisor who manages their team and approves requests from their team members, or
- A manager with oversight of a specific department or function, such as an HR manager, IT manager, or Facilities manager.
Once a request is submitted, the designated approver will automatically see it on their Approvals page. Here, they can view all pending requests, previously processed items, and relevant reports. To see requests awaiting their action, they can click on the "For Approval" menu. For instructions on how to set up approvers, please refer to the relevant guide.
