If you have multiple types of machines, add them using categories.

How to Plan Maintenance, Inspections, or Repairs of Machinery and Equipment
Maintenance plans are designed for those who need to plan one-time or recurring maintenance activities and want to be notified in advance of upcoming maintenance. Aptien not only notifies you in advance of individual deadlines and obligations, but also allows you to confirm individual activities. When confirming individual maintenance activities, you have the option to not only attach text information, but you can also attach any documentation about the maintenance performed, such as calibration protocols or other confirmations or documentation.

How to Keep a Maintenance Log for Production Machines
You keep individual records of machine and equipment maintenance in the form of activity logs in the "Minutes" tab:
- On the equipment item, select the "Minutes" tab.
- Choose "+Add Minute" and select the "Maintenance" type.
- A maintenance log will open, where your name will automatically be filled in, and the log will also be automatically attached to the equipment from which you are creating the log.
- In the "Minutes" field, record the maintenance activity - what you did.
- In the "Conclusion" field, record the next steps.
- If it is necessary to create a follow-up task, create it using the task button.
The
created maintenance log is available online only using a web
browser. The system provides a full audit trail and restricts access to
maintenance log only to users with the appropriate permissions.
Saved maintenance logs are indexed and easily searchable.
How to Manage Accompanying and Technical Documentation for Machines
On the "Attachments" tab, you maintain the necessary accompanying and technical documentation for each individual machine, which you need for operation, ensuring compliance with regulations, and for safety reasons. You have the option to divide the documents into folders, most often these are:
- Commissioning Documentation
- Manuals, Instructions, and User Information
- Manufacturer's Recommendations
- Technical Manuals
- Declaration of Conformity or Product Certification
