What is the Project Page
Project Page is a central place where you store all project-related information and documents. It consists of multiple sections and views that allow you to organize, display, and edit project details.
Key Sections of a Project Page
- Details – Displays key project information, such as name, description, and deadlines.
- Attachments – Stores all project-related documents, organized into folders for easy access.
- Connections – Links related records, such as customers, contracts, or associated products.
- Calendar – Provides a project-specific calendar to track important dates and milestones.
- Meeting Notes (Logbook) – Records all meetings, discussions, and activities related to the project.
- Tasks – Lists all tasks associated with the project, ensuring accountability and progress tracking.
- Notes – Allows users to add and view notes related to the project.
- Activity Plans – Includes checklists of required activities or scheduled actions to help track progress and ensure completion.
How to Create a Project Page
- Go to Project Management
- In Project Management, you'll see a "+ Add Project" or "+ Add Job" button.
- Enter the required details, such as the project name.
- Save it - the project will be created, and after clicking on it, you can add more information and documents.
Step 1: Decide Who Should See the Project Page
- By default, all your project managers see all projects.
- You can restrict and specify who sees which projects, see how.
Step 2: Add Details to the Project
- Go through each detail and attachment and add information according to your company's practices.
Step 3: Connect the Project Team to the Project
- Define the project team.
- Set responsibilities according to your needs.
Step 4: Share the Project Page with Your Vendors
- You can share your project with external workers, such as vendors or technicians.
- In the right sidebar of the project, in the menu, there is a Sharing option.
- Open the sharing window, follow the instructions here.
- This will share the project page with your external members.
- They will see it and be able to do what is set up and allowed by your administrator.
