This article is for administrators. You must be logged in as an administrator to enable scanning.
If you want to enable scanning of barcodes or QR codes from a mobile device into a specific detail (for example, an inventory number), you need to enable this feature as follows.
How to Enter Organizer Settings
- There are two ways to access organizer settings
1. Directly from the Organizer
- Select the record you want to change
- As an administrator, you'll see a pencil icon next to the record's name. Click it to access the organizer settings.
2. From the Administration
- Go to the Administration
- Select "Organizers" in the menu, choose the record you need, and make your edits.
How to Enable Code Scanning with Mobile
- Go to the "Details" tab
- Click on the edit pencil icon next to the detail you want to enable mobile scanning on
- Check the "Enable scanning with camera" option
- Save
