How to Set Up Deadline Monitoring for a Specific Date
You can enable deadline monitoring for date fields you keep in your records. You can have multiple monitors enabled and you can change them at any time.
- Select the item in the record (contracts, assets, or other) that you need to monitor
- Select the date field
- Click the watchdog icon and then select "+ Set Up New Monitoring"
- Fill in the monitor's name
- Set up the monitor according to your needs (the monitor options are described below)
- In each monitor's settings, you can also specify which colleagues the monitor will also notify. Or whether a task should be created from the monitor. If the activity requires a specific action, it is appropriate to create a task for the responsible users.
- Save
One-time notification on a specific day
- Do you need to be notified on a specific day for a single item in your records? That's what the specific day tracking is for, which you can select in the calendar.
- You will always receive notifications about the tracker in your inbox and also in your email inbox, at midnight before the start of the day you set. For example, if you want to track the date 11/27/2020, the tracker will send you a notification at midnight on 11/26/2020, so when you open your email inbox or application in the morning, you will already be notified of this specific day.
Recurring Reminder
Need to be reminded of a specific date repeatedly? That's what recurring monitoring is for.
- Choose how often you need to receive the reminder
- Set an expiration date for the monitor or leave it as permanent
If you select the option once every two days, it is important to remember that the day you turn on the monitor counts as the first day and you will receive a notification the next day. If you need to receive a notification every Friday, select the "week" option and check Friday. When you open your email or application on Friday morning, the notification will be waiting for you to process, and you won't forget anything as a result.
