This procedure is intended for administrators only
When to change the license
- If an employee has left and you need to replace them in the system
 - If you need to add a new user to the system but have no available licenses, you can temporarily or permanently remove access from another user
 
How to replace a user
If you need to replace a user, you must be logged in as an administrator.
First, handle the user whose license you want to remove:
- Go to Administration
 - Select "Users" from the menu
 - Choose the user you want to remove from the list
 - Select "Employee without a license" (this will remove the license)
 - Save the settings
 
Now, let's assign the license to a new user:
- Go to Administration
 - Select "Users" from the menu
 - Choose the user you want to assign the license to from the list
 - Select the required license - manager or active employee
 - Assign a role to the user
 - Save the settings
 
If the user is not yet in Aptien, create a new user in step three instead of selecting from the list.
