How to set permissions to the groups of details

Permission to the details group

If you need to restrict access to information held in details, in one of the organizers, you do this using detail groups. It is not possible to set permission for each detail separately, but only for groups of details. This is easier than setting it for each detail separately. 

For example, if you don't want to show detailed financial information about a project to other colleagues. In this situation, you would disable the Financial Information group in the Projects organizer. 

  • Only the administrator can set the permission
  • You set permission for detail groups at the role level

How to make settings for a detail group

  1. Go to Administration
  2. Select "Roles" from the menu
  3. Click to select the specific role you want to change
  4. In the right section, select the organizer in which you want to make the change
  5. To set permission, click on "Access to groups of details" and set Allow access or Deny access as needed
  6. Save the settings
