A prefix is a code paired with every new item. It is often automated. It is automatically generated while creating a new item according to given rules. It can also be input manually.
A prefix can be set-up by the administrator for every Organizer separately.
When do you use a prefix, and why is it beneficial?
You can use a prefix in the case when you need to generate a unique code or a number automatically. A typical example is a contract or employee ID.
