This article is intended for administrators
In the Enterprise Premium tariff, it is possible to set your own password policy. The settings are made by the administrator separately
- for regular users
- for privileged users (administrators), who may have stricter rules set.
You can find the password settings in Administration - Customization - Password Policy
Password Strength Settings
Here you set the requirements for password strength, which the system will then enforce on users
- Minimum password length (how long the password should be)
- Password history (how the password must not repeat)
- Require numeric characters - numbers from 0-9
- Require special characters
- Require upper and lower case letters
Password Expiration Settings
- Here you set the time after which the password will expire and the system will prompt the user to change it.
Account Protection Settings Against Attack
- Here you set, after how many incorrect attempts a time lock will be set and how long before the account is unlocked.
- The time lock protects your password against so-called brute force cracking, where the attacker tries various password combinations.
