What does monitoring a specific value mean?
- Changing the value means that when another user sets a piece of data to a specific value (for example, the wear status of a phone), you will receive a notification.
Common Use Cases for Monitoring a Specific Value
See examples of what you can solve by monitoring a specific value:
- Monitoring the wear and tear status of a mobile phone
- Monitoring a specific risk value (e.g., a critical risk)
How to Set Up Monitoring of Specific Values
Watchdogs can be enabled for various fields that you manage in your records. You can have multiple watchdogs enabled and you can change them freely at any time.
- Select the item in the record (contracts, assets, or other) that you need to monitor
- Select the field for which you want to monitor specific values
- Click on the watchdog icon and then select "+ Set up new monitoring"
- Fill in the name of the watchdog
- Configure the watchdog according to your needs (watchdog options are described below)
- In the settings of each watchdog, you can also specify which colleagues the watchdog should also notify. Or whether a task should be created from the watchdog, so if the activity requires the implementation of a certain activity, it is appropriate to create a task for the responsible users
