How to Schedule a New Employee’s Start and Tasks
To schedule specific dates and tasks for a new employee, use the prepared onboarding checklist. On the employee’s profile, under the "Activity Plans" tab, you’ll see the checklist with a "Schedule" button next to each task. Here’s how to schedule activities:
- Open the employee records.
- Select the employee you want to schedule tasks for.
- Go to the "Activity Plans" tab.
- Click "Schedule" next to the task you want to set.
- Enter the due date for completing the task.
- Optionally, set a reminder before the due date.
- Click Save.
- When the task is completed, you or the assigned manager can mark it as done by clicking the Confirm button.
How to Confirm Completion of Individual Tasks and Onboarding Steps
- Once a task is finished, the employee responsible or you confirm that the task has been completed.
- As the HR manager (or another designated person), you verify that the task has been done.
- If needed, attach a file as proof of completion.
- This could be a scan, photo, or other relevant document.
