You can change the name of an Organizer for all Organizers except the basic preinstalled Organizers - so you cannot change the name of the following Organizers: Employees, Contacts, Companies, Projects, Organization, Processes, and others. If you would like to have a different name for these basic Organizers, you need to make a copy - i.e., export the settings of the basic Organizer to a file and then generate a new Organizer from this file.
Process of changing the name of a basic Organizer
To change the name of a basic Organizer (i.e., Employees, Contacts, Companies, Projects, Organizations, and Processes), do the following:
- Click on the edit pencil next to the Organizer name, and you will see the organizer settings
- In basic settings, click on the "Save Organizer Settings to File" option, this will save the file to the selected folder on your computer
- Close the Organizer settings
- In your workspace, click on "Create new Organizer from template"
- Select the option at the bottom left "From File" and click in the box to select the downloaded file from your computer
- Confirm YES that you really want to create the Organizer from a file, and the copied Organizer will appear in the top Organizer bar
- Open the copied Organizer and click on the edit pencil icon to the right of the Organizer name
- Change the name of the Organizer and save
Process of changing the name of other Organizers (newly created by you)
If you have created a new Organizer yourself and want to change its name, you can do so at any time as follows:
- Open the Organizer by clicking on its name in the top bar and click on the edit pencil icon to the right of the Organizer name
- Change the name of the Organizer and save
If you want to customize the Organizer to your needs, you can set not only its name but also its color, accompanying texts, and button texts. Next to the name of the Organizer, you will find a pencil icon to access the settings. Here you will find everything you can customize.
