Costs and Consumption for Machinery, Tools, Devices, and Work Equipment

  • Tracking costs, operating hours, or other consumption metrics for machines, devices, and other equipment helps small and medium-sized businesses manage maintenance, oversee its completion, control their budget, and make better decisions.

  • Costs of repairs, maintenance, and spare parts
  • Operating Hours or Usage Cycles

How to Track Equipment Maintenance Costs in Aptien (BETA)

  1. Go to your equipment organizer (or the section where you manage your machinery and equipment).
  2. Select the record for the equipment you want to track costs for.
  3. Select the "Usage and Costs" tab.
  4. Enter the maintenance cost (materials or labor) into the cost table.

Overview of All Company Equipment Costs

  1. Go to your Equipment Tracking Dashboard
  2. On the dashboard, open the "Costs & Usage" card.
  3. You'll see a summary of your equipment, sorted by cost or profitability (you can select the view on this tab).
