How to Add the Aptien Calendar to Your Calendar

If you need to connect a calendar from another app to Aptien, you can do so by generating a unique ICS link.

  1. Get the ICS link from your Aptien calendar (Google Calendar, Outlook)
  2. Connect this link to your account in another calendar app (Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook)
  3. The Aptien calendar will display the connected calendar for you

TIP: In the Aptien calendar, you have these calendars available: Reminders, Activity Plans, Tasks, Notes. Each has its own separate ICS link. So if you want to display them elsewhere, you need to add each one separately.

How to Get an ICS Link from Aptien

  • In Aptien, generate a shared ICS link (also called an iCalendar feed) for the calendar you want to view in another app.
  • Copy this link — you will need it in the next steps.

Notes and Limitations

  • Read-only mode: Calendars added via ICS are read-only. Make any changes in Aptien.
  • Update frequency: Each platform has its own sync interval (Google can take up to 12 hours, Apple depends on settings, Outlook usually every few hours).
  • ICS format: The ICS link from Aptien uses the international iCalendar format and is compatible with all common calendars.
  • In Aptien, you have these calendars available: Reminders, Activity Plans, Tasks, Notes. Each has its own separate ICS link. So if you want to display them elsewhere, you need to add each one separately.
