Definition of Skills Gap, Qualification Gap
Skills gap (or qualification gap) is the difference between an employee's current skills or qualification and the qualification required or best suited for their job position. The skills gap is the output of the employee performance review or skills gap analysis and is the input for the employee training and development plan.
How to Manage Skills Gap in Aptien HR
- Open Employee organizer
- Go to a record of specific employee
- Select the "Job assignment" tab
- Click on "Job Requirements"
- You see a list of requirements and compare them with the status of the employee
