What is work order
Work order is an authorization to perform requested task, job or activity. It is assigned to someone, typically maintenance worker or a vendor. Work order can be equivalent to a service order.
Work order is created as follow ups to:
- Internal employee request
- Planned maintenance activity
- Inspections or audits
- Sales order
Authorization to issue work order depending on the type of business. Trigger requests can be submitted by any one of employee. Once work request is reviewed and approved by authorised manager, an official work order to complete the job is issued.
